“Slieve Snaght - 22nd March 2009”

This walk covered Damph, Slieve Main and finally Slieve Snaght in the Innishowen area. The walk was led by Diane “Speedy Gonzales” Traynor who whipped us around the three hills in record time!
Initially I thought I was hyperventilating due to the tail end of a bad cold but turns out everyone as a bit “breathless” as we stomped around in record time! Excellent days walk - the sun even came out from time to time! Very windy at the top of Slieve Snaght, strong enough to take your breath (and legs) away from time to time!
Our thanks to Diane for a great walk - ps, did not fall into any bog holes this time around!

note: Diane is the one demonstrating the "protect your bits" with foam technique for getting over fences!
