“Coolcross Hill & Crockaughrim - 31st January 2009”
Beatrice led this walk on a dull and overcast day with heavy rain, however as the day progressed the rain “almost” stopped and the group splashed happily around the circuit to both summits. An interesting and sheltered lunch spot was revealed by Beatrice and I watched the lid of my flask demonstrate downhill running as it disappeared into the valley - I hope it’s happy in it’s new home!
In summary a wet day but the group remained in high if somewhat soggy spirits.
