Animal Crossing for the Wii has been officially announced at E3, its called Animal Crossing: City Folk, and yes it has a city! The game is expected to be released later this year. The game has lots more features, you can send messages to the Wii message board, get the bus to town, sell your items at the auction and even speak with other players using a new feature called Wii speak. Wii speak is a small device that apparently mounts on top of your Wii's sensor bar and lets you communicate with your fellow players. It is unknown if the wii speak feature will be available for other games yet.

IRC changed to Mibbit

Today we decided to change the slow PJIRC Java client to a more faster AJAX based client called Mibbit. So thats good news for those who's computers do not support Java or have a firewall blocking it!

More maintenance

Animal Crossing: City Folk

Today was Nintendo's conference at E3 revealing the new animal crossing game on wii, named Animal Crossing: City Folk! The game now has a city with shops and lots more features including wii speak to talk to people! Ill post more updates to the ticker above, as they come.
